The statement Perfection cannot be improved is void. It is true provided a particular phenomenon/subject had attained perfection, which is virtually never possible. I personally believe, it is useless to reach the state of perfection but the journey to be become one makes life interesting.
I have been one among the herds as far as searching the web is concerned, glued to Google since the last few years and have never bothered to use any other search engines except for Teoma for a while as there was too much hype on …

In a party scenario, the statement ”The More the Merrier“ is true provided you are a good host, else, do not even think about making an attempt to invite a large group of people. Or, be prepared for a terrible disaster.
I am impressed by a few hosts who have the knack to keep disparate group of individuals united and have fun at the same time, I have always wondered what it takes to be like that. I personally am incapable of handling large disparate groups of individuals in a party.
The objective of …

Sex is one of the frequently searched terms on the internet. I remember hearing this from folks who are in online advertising, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) industries and reading a few articles on how internet is used by audience on Sex related information.
Since the release of Google Video, You Tube and the like, I have been expecting rampant use of these sites to view/download pornographic materials. But, Google Video had given me a different perspective. Video.Google.Com has a list of items that are aggregated basis the number of searches and …

Day before evening, I was busy at home shuttling between a few television channels. During my journey, whilst halting at National Geography, there was a Programme on extreme engineering covering the construction of world’s longest suspension bridges in Japan – Akashi-Kaikyo AKA Pearl Bridge.
It was great to watch the effort put in by Japanese engineers on constructing the bridge, even more interesting was their importance to details and precision. I had a good time watching the program untill it reached a stage where the host of the show talked about …

An aspiring engineer Balaram Tudu, who managed to score 83rd rank in IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) JEE is yet to smell the classroom of the premier institution. Thanks to Indian Postal Department for their siestas, pass-the-buck tournaments and importantly stories for non-delivery that will make a few famous movie makers shy.
This malfunctioning Department should be shut for a few months and sent to work in Bombay Dubbawala’s team to learn the basics of timely delivery.
This year monsoon had ruined many roads in Bombay, the municipal commissioner Johnny Joseph, yet another interesting public …

A few days ago, I wrote a page on Pareto’s new definition in employee relationship management, an approach that is followed by Google Inc. In the following entry, I would like to highlight how Trademark Violation was dealt by Google and my understanding Google’s attorney’s trialroom prowess, incorrectness in twisting the story and eventually stepping out of the trial room as Don’t be Evil organization.
Geico Insurance had sued Google for letting other insurers (competitors to use Geico as a AdWord in their text-based advertisements). This approach will lead any user searching for …

I recently finished reading The Google Story by David A. Wise, enjoyed every bit of it. The book tickled my interest almost right from the first couple of pages.
I was blown by this book that talks about the organization without focusing deeply on Capital, Customer Acquisition, Profit & Loss, Market Share, Crisis Management and the likes, the items usually followed by a book belonging to such a genre. Google Story invariably revolves around innovation or the key subject-line making information available to the seeker in the most efficient way. Not to demean any books on …

A new restaurant/coffee shop opened recently in Bombay, heard of it? It’s called Hitler’s Cross. I am sure the rookie businessman thought it as an innovative approach to title the eatery Hitler’s Cross.
From business perspective, though I understand the value of such initiatives in marketing would bring to the table on brand awareness through Word of Mouth, the subject line is so nasty, civilians would never respond to such awareness beyond the initial fizz – So, what is the point is having a Brand name so visible yet no business? Any brand value …
